The 60YW-Y and 80YW-Y automatic double-head chamfering machines process both ends of short pipes and solid bars in one cycle. PLC control, automatic feeding, hydraulic clamping and controlled tool feeding provide efficient and repeatable end chamfering for parts from 30 to 180 mm long.
The 60YW-Y and 80YW-Y automatic double-head chamfering machines are designed for short pipes, bars, bushings and sleeves. Two opposing machining heads process both ends of the workpiece during one operating cycle, reducing handling time compared with single-head machines.
The machine uses PLC control with automatic feeding, clamping, tool advancement and tool return. A two-stage feeding system combines fast approach with a slower machining stage, helping improve cycle efficiency and surface finish.
The 60YW-Y processes pipes from Ø15 to Ø60 mm, while the larger 80YW-Y handles pipes from Ø20 to Ø85 mm. Both models support workpiece lengths from 30 to 180 mm and can process steel, stainless steel, aluminum and copper materials.
External chamfering, internal chamfering and end-face deburring depend on the selected cutter head, fixture and workpiece specification. Customers should provide material, diameter, wall thickness, length and chamfer drawings before quotation.
